umg8 Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the umg8 website, mobile platform, and all associated services (collectively, "the Platform") operated by umg8 ("the Company", "we", "us", "our"). umg8 operates under international gaming licensing frameworks and provides online sports betting, live casino, slot gaming, jackpot products, and related entertainment services.

By registering an account with umg8, accessing the Platform, or placing any wager, you ("the User", "you", "your") acknowledge that you have read these Terms in full, that you understand them, and that you agree to be bound by them. These Terms should be read alongside the umg8 Privacy Policy and Responsible Gaming Policy, both of which form part of the overall agreement between you and umg8.

These Terms apply to all users of the umg8 Platform regardless of the jurisdiction from which they access it. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that use of the Platform is lawful in your jurisdiction. umg8 makes no representation that the Platform is appropriate or legally available in all jurisdictions.

2. Eligibility

You are only permitted to register and use the umg8 Platform if you satisfy all of the following eligibility requirements:

• You are at least 21 years of age at the time of registration. umg8 operates a strict 21+ policy and will not knowingly permit any person under the age of 21 to register or maintain an account.
• You are not a resident of, or accessing the Platform from, any jurisdiction in which online gambling is prohibited by applicable law.
• You are acting on your own behalf, not as an agent or representative of any third party.
• You are not a current or former employee, director, officer, or associate of umg8 or any affiliated entity, unless written consent has been obtained from umg8 management.
• You have not previously had an account closed, suspended, or terminated by umg8 for breach of these Terms.
• You are not subject to any self-exclusion agreement that would prohibit you from using the Platform.

By registering, you warrant that all of the above conditions are satisfied. umg8 reserves the right to require documentary proof of age and identity at any time. Failure to provide satisfactory verification may result in account suspension and withholding of funds pending review.

3. Account Registration

Each user is permitted to hold one (1) account on the umg8 Platform. The creation of multiple accounts by a single individual ("duplicate accounts") is strictly prohibited and will result in the closure of all associated accounts and forfeiture of any balances held therein.

When registering, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information including your full legal name, date of birth, residential address, email address, and phone number. You must promptly update your account information if any details change. umg8 shall not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to maintain accurate account information.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials including your username and password. You must notify umg8 immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. umg8 will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access where you have failed to take reasonable precautions to protect your credentials.

Account sharing — allowing another person to access or use your umg8 account — is prohibited. Each account is strictly personal and non-transferable.

Know Your Customer ("KYC") verification is mandatory before any withdrawal is processed. umg8 may request identity documents including but not limited to government-issued photo identification, proof of address, and proof of payment method. Accounts that fail to complete KYC may be restricted from withdrawal until verification is complete.

4. Deposits & Withdrawals

All transactions on the umg8 Platform are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Supported deposit methods include Touch n Go eWallet, Boost, Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, and Crypto. umg8 reserves the right to modify available payment methods at any time without prior notice.

Deposits are generally credited to your account balance upon confirmed receipt from your payment provider. umg8 is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or banking institutions.

Withdrawals are subject to the following conditions:

• Your account must have completed KYC verification to the satisfaction of umg8's compliance team.
• Withdrawals may only be made to payment methods previously used for deposits, or to verified accounts held in your name, subject to compliance review.
• Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts apply and are displayed in the account dashboard at the time of the withdrawal request.
• umg8 reserves the right to delay or decline any withdrawal pending fraud investigation, compliance review, or suspected breach of these Terms.
• Active bonus balances subject to wagering requirements may affect your ability to withdraw until those requirements are met.

umg8 does not charge fees for standard withdrawals, though your payment provider may impose their own charges. You are responsible for any taxes, levies, or duties applicable to winnings in your jurisdiction. umg8 does not provide tax advice.

5. Betting Rules

Specific betting rules applicable to each product — Sportsbook, Live Casino, Slots, and Jackpot — are detailed in the relevant product sections of the Platform. The following general rules apply across all products:

• All bets are accepted at umg8's sole discretion. umg8 reserves the right to decline, limit, or void any wager without providing a reason.
• Once a bet is confirmed and accepted by umg8's systems, it is binding and cannot be cancelled by the user except where explicitly permitted by the applicable product rules.
• In the event of a technical fault, system error, or communication failure during a bet placement, umg8 reserves the right to void the affected transaction. A voided bet will result in the stake being returned to the user's balance.
• umg8 reserves the right to void bets placed on events where the result has already been determined at the time of placement, or where an obvious pricing error has occurred.
• Minimum and maximum stake limits apply per bet type and product. These limits are displayed within the relevant betting interface.
• Winnings from settled bets are credited to your account balance immediately upon settlement. Disputed settlements must be raised with umg8 support within 72 hours of the relevant event's conclusion.

6. Bonuses & Promotions

umg8 may from time to time offer bonuses, free bets, free spins, cashback, and other promotional incentives to registered users. All bonuses are subject to the following general conditions unless the specific promotion terms state otherwise:

• Bonuses are subject to wagering requirements that must be fulfilled before the bonus amount or any associated winnings can be withdrawn. The applicable wagering multiplier will be stated in the specific promotion terms.
• Only one bonus may be active at any time unless the promotion terms expressly permit stacking.
• Bonuses may only be claimed once per user, household, IP address, device, or payment method, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the promotion terms.
• umg8 reserves the right to withdraw, modify, or cancel any bonus offer at any time without prior notice.
• Any evidence of bonus abuse — including but not limited to creating duplicate accounts, placing artificially balanced bets to meet wagering requirements, or exploiting promotional mechanics — will result in immediate forfeiture of the bonus balance and any associated winnings, and may result in account suspension.
• Bonuses are issued at umg8's discretion and do not constitute a contractual entitlement on the part of the user.

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited on the umg8 Platform. Engaging in any prohibited conduct may result in immediate account suspension, permanent account closure, and forfeiture of all balances:

• Providing false, inaccurate, or misleading information during registration or KYC verification.
• Colluding with other players to gain an unfair advantage in any game or betting market.
• Using any automated software, bot, script, or artificial intelligence to interact with the Platform in place of genuine human activity.
• Exploiting software bugs, errors, or pricing mistakes for financial gain. Winnings obtained through exploitation are voidable at umg8's discretion.
• Money laundering or using the Platform for any illegal financial activity. umg8 has obligations under applicable anti-money laundering frameworks and will report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
• Facilitating access to the Platform by any person known to be under 21 years of age.
• Using a VPN, proxy, or similar technology to circumvent geographic restrictions or access the Platform from a prohibited jurisdiction.
• Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the technical infrastructure of the Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the umg8 Platform, including but not limited to the umg8 brand name, logo, website design, software, game interfaces, text, graphics, and data, is the intellectual property of umg8 or its licensed partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only. This licence does not permit you to copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works based on any Platform content without umg8's prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, umg8 and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

• Loss of funds due to gambling outcomes.
• Interruptions to Platform availability due to maintenance, technical faults, or force majeure events.
• Delays in payment processing by third-party providers.
• Unauthorised access to your account where you have failed to take reasonable security precautions.
• Decisions made based on information provided on the Platform, including odds, game statistics, or promotional descriptions.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit umg8's liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Responsible Gaming

umg8 is committed to promoting responsible gaming practices. The Platform is intended as an entertainment service for adults aged 21 and above who can engage with it in a responsible manner. umg8 provides the following responsible gaming tools to all registered users:

• Deposit Limits: You may set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits from within your account settings. Limit reductions take effect immediately; increases are subject to a cooling-off period.
• Session Time Limits: You may set maximum session durations after which the Platform will log you out automatically.
• Loss Limits: You may set limits on the maximum amount you can lose within a defined period.
• Self-Exclusion: You may request temporary or permanent self-exclusion from the Platform. Self-exclusion requests are processed promptly and cannot be reversed during the exclusion period. Contact umg8 support to initiate self-exclusion.
• Reality Checks: You may configure session reminders that notify you of elapsed time during gaming sessions.

11. Account Suspension & Closure

umg8 reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently close any account at any time and without prior notice where umg8 has reasonable grounds to believe that:

• These Terms or any specific product rules have been breached.
• The account has been used for fraudulent, illegal, or suspicious activity.
• The registered account holder does not meet the eligibility criteria set out in Section 2.
• Requested KYC documentation has not been provided within a reasonable timeframe.
• Continued operation of the account presents a risk to umg8 or other users of the Platform.

Where an account is closed other than for cause, any verified balance held in the account at the time of closure will be returned to the account holder via their registered payment method, subject to completion of outstanding KYC requirements.

You may request closure of your account at any time by contacting umg8 support. Voluntary closure requests will be processed promptly. If you have active bonuses subject to wagering requirements at the time of closure, those bonuses and any associated winnings will be forfeited.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to umg8's operating jurisdiction under its international gaming licence. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the use of the umg8 Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts or arbitral bodies as designated by umg8's licensing authority.

Malaysian users acknowledge that while umg8 is accessible in Malaysia and operates services targeting Malaysian players, it is their responsibility to ascertain the legal status of online gambling activities under Malaysian law and to comply with all applicable local regulations. umg8 does not provide legal advice to users regarding their local legal obligations.

13. Amendments to These Terms

umg8 reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Amendments will be published on this page with the date of the most recent update clearly indicated. Where changes are material, umg8 will use reasonable efforts to notify registered users via the email address on file or through a notification displayed upon login.

Your continued use of the umg8 Platform after the publication of amended Terms constitutes your acceptance of those amendments. If you do not accept the amended Terms, you must cease using the Platform and may request account closure in accordance with Section 11.
